Project 1: Developing a Pan-Canadian Framework for Advanced Practice Physiotherapy

A multi-phase consensus study to create a national framework for advanced practice physiotherapy across Canada.

  • Phase 1: Modified e-Delphi survey of physiotherapists across Canada (completed).

  • Phase 2: Focus groups at CPA Congress 2024 (completed).

  • Phase 3: Engagement with stakeholders and publication (ongoing).

Project 2: Developing AI-Driven Adaptive Learning Platform for Health Sciences Education

This project aims to develop a generative AI learning platform to enhance clinical decision-making in healthcare programs.

  • Phase 1: Scoping review & survey on the need for GenAI learning (in progress).

  • Phase 2: Design and build phase to fine-tune existing AI platforms.

  • Phase 3: Evaluation and scale-up.

A national cross-sectional survey exploring attitudes toward AI integration in physiotherapy education and practice.

A systematic review and meta-analysis comparing AI-assisted and conventional neurorehabilitation on outcomes after stroke.
